Amor Barcelona Autumn Meeting: Breakfast and Photo Shoot in Barcelona

The Amor Barcelona project has evolved beyond being a blog of recommendations. Since November, we've introduced a new format: creative offline meetings in Barcelona. These events include workshops, networking, delicious food and, of course, capturing memories through photography. We're cultivating our very own Amor Barcelona community. These gatherings fulfil the need for connections and experiences in a new place. We come together to share our stories, recharge through meaningful interactions and inspire each other!

We were excited, as this was the first event of its kind in Barcelona that we had organised together. We met on a Saturday morning in the quiet park of Turo with huge bags of decorations. We decorated the table and prepared an autumnal photo zone for the arrival of the guests. Bright pumpkins and cones, seasonal fruit and cheeses, cardigans and plaids, hats and gloves, straw furniture and books - we gathered the warmest attributes for decoration. The weather was not autumnal at all - it was plus 25 - but that did not spoil the mood. You can only dream of such a golden autumn. But in Barcelona it is a reality!

Once the girls had gathered (yes, the meeting turned out to be all girls), we ordered breakfast: muesli with yoghurt and fruit and two plates of snacks. We talked about ourselves and our Amor Barcelona project and gave the girls cards with their names on them. We chose this format of introduction to avoid 'about yourself' speeches in a circle, so that everyone would feel comfortable. We have been in this situation many times ourselves and know how difficult it can be to speak in front of strangers.
