Montjuic never ceases to amaze! In the shade of the trees, away from the tourist routes, there is a swimming pool with a stunning panoramic view of the Catalan capital. The complex was built, among other things, for the 1992 Olympic Games, so it looks very old-fashioned. But the view more than makes up for it. Kylie Minogue's music video for 'Slow' was filmed here. Of course, it was the perfect place to shoot a video with such a name :)
There are two pools: one for athletes and one for swimmers. There are toilets, showers, changing rooms and lockers. Use of these is not recommended due to frequent theft, so I would recommend taking things with you to the pool.
On the plus side: clean water, sun loungers for 1€ and a comfortable number of holidaymakers. On a weekday in summer there are around 70-100 people, at weekends the number of holidaymakers can be higher.

The swimming pool is open in summer 2019 from 1 June to 1 September from 11.00 to 18.30.
Adults: €6.80 (discounts for groups)
Children from 6 to 14 years 4.50 €
Children under 5 and the elderly (over 65) are free.
